Fiber Data Center Housings & Shelves
Belden's rack-mount fiber patch panels are available in 1U, 2U & 4U configurations. Belden offers three platforms for housings and shelves in data center environments. All platforms offer the flexibility to deploy pre-terminated or field-terminated solutions including splicing.

FX DCX patch panels
Available in two configurations, the DCX platform delivers unmatched flexibility:
- Ultra High-Density: Features 3 pull-out trays per rack unit (72-ports/RU)1
- High-Density: Includes 1 pull-out/tilt tray per rack unit (48-ports/RU)
Both versions are compatible with all the DCX frames and cassettes available in the line allowing an easy migration from Base-12 technology to Base-8 and beyond without sacrificing termination density.

FX UHD patch panels
This platform provides patch panel housings and a variety of rack-mount shelf options. UHD platform accommodates up to 4 modules per rack unit and offers an ultra high-density up to 72-ports/RU1 taking the modular approach to fiber management.
FX XHD patch panels
The newest addition to our portfolio, XHD panels blend the best of DCX and FX UHD—delivering superior density, scalability, and flexibility. Available preloaded with MPO-to-LC fanouts, these panels are ready for rapid deployment in data center environments.
